Perele Chana Birnhack is a busy mother. Her home is filled with the signs of bright, active children - from the notes on the walls, to the pictures on the fridge. Despite this, she felt compelled to write this book.
After graduating Bais Yaakov Los Angeles High School, Perele Chana attended Yavne Seminary in Cleveland. There she was introduced to many teaching methods, including visual discrimination in teaching Alef Bais. Upon graduating she taught Limudei Kodesh in New York, where she also attended Touro College.
Over the next few years, as Mrs. Birnhack tutored and taught, she realized the necessity of writing a book based on the unique method of multisense learning. Through games, colorful activities, and crafts the child's interest would be harnessed. Focusing on the discrimination of details between the letters would assist a child in identifying and remembering the letters.
From the snippets of time wedged between laundry, homework, carpools, meals . . . the pages of this book took shape. It is her wish that your children experience the joy of learning!
